Ray Nicholson Stalks ‘90s Pop Star Samara Weaving In Borderline Trailer
From Jimmy Warden, the writer of Cocaine Bear, comes a twisted new thriller with Borderline. In his directorial debut, Samara Weaving is a ‘90s pop star caught in the grip of a dangerous stalker, played by Ray Nicholson. She must escape with the help of her bodyguard before he forces her into a grand and sinister wedding.
The trailer teases a violently twisted Nicholson in a role that allows him to embrace that unhinged smile he inherited. Tense and creepy with a dollop of comedy, Borderline taps into the madness of unstable fandom. The film also stars Eric Dane, Alba Baptista, and Jimmie Fails.

“It was an absolute pleasure to make this movie with such an extraordinary team of actors, crew, and producers,” said director Jimmy Warden in a statement. “Across the board — from the executives at Magnet, PMI, and Radiant to the background actors who agreed to stay late as we doused an 11-year-old in fake blood — I’m indebted to them all. The film is wild and I can’t wait for the world to see it.”
Borderline is set for both a theatrical and digital release on March 14.
