Donna Kelce Cameos in Two Hallmark Christmas Movies Premiering this Year
Donna Kelce practically outworks her sons, even more so now that she will have not one, but two cameo roles in Hallmark Channel movies premiering during this year’s 15th anniversary of Countdown to Christmas. Staying true to her mantra of playing fair, she will appear in movies that pay homage to both her sons, Jason Kelce and Travis Kelce, respective teams.
Fans will see her in the Kansas City-set Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story as the manager of Norma & Nic’s, the popular Kansas City BBQ restaurant owned by the family at the center of the story who is vying for the title of the Chiefs Fan of the Year. We’ll also get to see her in Christmas on Call, which follows the interconnected lives of first responders in Philadelphia at Christmas time.
HBO Orders Rachel Sennott Comedy To Series
Rachel Sennott's untitled comedy has been picked up to series at HBO. Sennott will create and stars in the series and also serves as an executive producer. So far, Odessa A’Zion, Jordan Firstman, Miles Robbins, and True Whitaker are all set to join her in the project.
The series follows a group of codependent friends who reunite after some time apart, navigating how the separation, ambition, and new relationships have changed them.
Charlie Hunnam To Star As Silence of the Lambs Inspiration Ed Gein in Monster Season 3
Charlie Hunnam is joining the Netflix Monster universe. Hunnam has been cast as the serial killer Ed Gein for the upcoming third installment of Ryan Murphy's acclaimed anthology series.
Production will begin in October 2024.
New Additions to People We Meet on Vacation Adaptation
While everyone was still recovering from the news of Emily Henry’s People We Meet on Vacation receiving a film adaptation, it was then announced that Tom Blyth and Emily Bader would play the beloved main characters of Alex and Poppy.
And now, new additions to the cast have been announced — I need a minute. Netflix announced that Sarah Catherine Hook, Jameela Jamil, Lucien Laviscount, and Lukas Gage are all set to join Blyth and Bader in the feature adaptation.
Shogun Sets Record For Most Emmys Won in a Single Year
Shogun won a record 18 Emmys for its first season, including Outstanding Drama Series. Plus star and co-producer Hiroyuki Sanada became the first Japanese actor to win the Emmy for best lead actor in a dramatic series!
The series not only came out on top for awards, but also earned a record-breaking 25 nominations at this year’s Emmys.
FX’s American Horror Stories is Back!
American Horror Stories is back with a five episode Huluween event. The FX anthology series first came about in 2021 and has since then become widely anticipated to kick off the Halloween season.
The episodes will premiere exclusively on Hulu on October 15.
Michael B. Jordan to Direct and Star in The Thomas Crown Affair
Michael B. Jordan will star and direct The Thomas Crown Affair for Amazon MGM Studios. The film will be the third remake after the 1968 film starring Steve McQueen and the 1999 remake starring Pierce Brosnan and Rene Russo.
Jordan will be directing the classic romantic heist story from a script written by Drew Pearce.
