New Lilo and Stitch Live-Action Trailer Brings The Iconic Duo To Life!

Ohana means family and family means we all get a new look at the live-action Lilo & Stitch!

In the trailer, a lonely Hawaiian girl Lilo wishes on what she thinks is a shooting star for a best friend. She ends up on a wild ride with a fugitive alien who helps bring her broken together back family. The director of the animated film Chris Sanders returns to voice Stitch, while we’re introduced to a pitch perfect Maia Kealoha as young Lilo. She is too adorable and I can’t wait to see the bond between Lilo and Stitch come to life in life-action!

The film is directed by award-winning filmmaker Dean Fleischer Camp, best known for Marcel The Shell With Shoes On. Sydney Elizabeth Agudong, Billy Magnussen, Tia Carrere, Hannah Waddingham, Courtney B. Vance, and Zach Galifanakis round out the cast.

Lilo & Stitch opens in theaters on May 23.
